Lost Book Information

Has your son or daughter lost their Reading Counts book?

The lost book fee for a Reading Counts book is $10.  You have the option of paying the lost book fee or replacing the lost book with one of the same (the exact title/book lost).  If your child can’t remember the book lost, have them visit us in the Reading Counts room during our regular Reading Counts hours so we can fill out a lost book slip to be sent home that day.  We will keep a log of all lost books and fees collected, so if by chance you happen to find the book or if it happens to show up in the Reading Counts room after you have already paid the lost book fee, we will gladly return your money as long as it is found during the current school year.

If paying for a lost Reading Counts book, please send cash or checks made payable to Hawes PTA.
