The YMCA at Hawes is now offering free childcare during PTA meetings! Children must be potty-trained and walking.
What is Our Goal? The primary goal of our Hawes PTA is to enrich the educational and extra-curricular activities of all students. We strive to foster school spirit, sense of community and a strong relationship between parents and educators. Fundraising is not our primary goal. However, during these difficult economic times the PTA has stepped up to lessen the impact of budget cuts on our kids' educational experience. We are proud of the growth and improvements that have been made at our school. Our kids continue to shine thanks to the dedication of our teachers, staff and parents. Hawes was ranked 2nd in the District based on 2009-2010 API scores. It is your financial commitments, our parent volunteers and our great community spirit that make Hawes Elementary an amazing school!
